Tasty Buffet in West Yarmoutd

Cold food, everything stale, cooked ages ago, chicken so rubbery, the buffet spread is wide but shallow. Appearance of plenty but only 1% edible. Dessert were quite unappetizing. Even the ice cream was bland. Imagine that. Avoid. Go to some local eatery instead.

The food was good. It was all served hot, and cooked quite well. There were lots of other folks there enjoying their meals as well, and a steady stream of new customers coming in. It was pretty busy. My nine-year-old daughter loved the clams! We will be coming back soon.

Mediocre food with very limited choices. entertainment was ok. Place Did not feel clean.

Food was old and dried out. Only seemed to get changed when a pan was empty, and even then we had to ask if they were bringing more out. When my wife asked if they had dumplings, the waiter said no.....actually if I'm being accurate he yelled' NO, NO DUMPLINGS ". Guess he got that question a lot. On the plus side, I was the thinnest person there☺, so it wasn't all negative. We came, we ate, we belched. Good thing I had after dinner mints in the car

Decent selection but worst crab rangoons ever. No cream cheese or crab in it. They have hard ice cream which I love.

The place is fantastic and the food there is really good. It is the best restaurant that I have ever been.

Worst illegal resturant ever.. it was nasty under the old name it's still nasty... the food is left out all day the cook doesn't wash his hand he use a dirty rag to wipe the counter and dish ware... the meat is not just chicken if you know what I mean... The hire underage kids to work under the table for little pay and keep there tips and the minors are allowed to serve alcohol.... They have been turned into the health dept labor dept child labor dept and immigration.... Do Not Go There

It the best food place you could go

Cold food, false advertisement of crab legs, food not changed or even checked on regularly. Sat for about 30 minutes and weird tasting chicken wings were brought out only to have the old ones mixed with new batch. I can see someone getting sick other than full off a meal from here.

There's a reason the parking lot is empty. Dried food, appears to be sitting for a while. Not much variety. Definitely pass on this one.

Don't confuse Tasty Buffet with the former Cape Cod Super Buffet! These new owners have transformed this place into a great place to eat! Food And Menu is fantastic! Staff and Management very attentive and customer focused! Far cry from previous owners

Food was terrible, terrible. Crab meat was imitation. Had to wait too long for them to replenish food. Some food half cooked. Salad bar lettuce was drenched in water. Salad dressing was ketcup, sweet and sour sauce and some other white stuff. Egg rolls tasted aweful. Inside looked like moist dog food. Would never refer to anyone. It does not even deserve a 1 star.

How are these people allowed to continue serving what they call 'food'? What we had there was as hard as a rock and probably a month old. Their lo mein was the thinnest and worst-tasting that I ever experienced. Their 'lemonade' does not remotely taste anything like lemons, more like soapy water. Very uncomfortable atmosphere with employees awkwardly staring at customers while they try to eat. And the price? It was 50% higher than a real home cooked meal that we had up the street earlier that same day.

Bad experience, bad food, understaffed and never again. Water dripping from ceiling airvents onto us as we sat was just the last straw.

Food was not refilled. Salad bar was lettuce , tomato, bad cukes, no cheese no carrots or celery no dressing. First thru line empty pans. Enjoyed entrainment.

Whoever gave this place 3 4 or 5 stars must be employees or relatives. 2 stars is being generous. Food was not good at all. Typical Chinese buffet variety but cold and gross. The many flavors of ice cream consisted of 5 tubs of ice cream 3 empty and 1 chocolate 1 strawberry close to empty. (The 3 empty also chocolate and strawberry. My 5 year old who eats anything left without touching his food. The only thing i could stomach was the canned pineapple chunks and cold rice. 60.00 for my family to eat only a few bites and throw the rest away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GOOD --- REVIEWS ARE FAKE!

Some good food, not much of a selection of things. Some of the food looks like it's been out for hours.

Some things are even homeade!! Really nice people, clean place and worth every penny. Ignore the 1 stars, they don't know homeade food if it hit them in the face. GREAT PLACE!!

My wife is Chinese and loves it.

Having not tried any other chinese buffet in Massachusetts I'm going to say that this is probably your best choice in at least the Cape Cod area for a Chinese Buffet (possibly further considering the search results and reviews I was seeing)It's not the greatest, and they do cut corners on some of the basic stuff. The Lo Mein was actually flavored spaghetti and the Vegetable Fried Rice was white rice with soy sauce and onions. There was a decent amount of variety that I'm not used to seeing on a buffet like Coconut Shrimp and Chicken Curry which were both good. A lot of the fried stuff was a little odd. Most things were good, some really good. Water was fine and the waitresses kind of hovered an extra few seconds. There was a comedy show going on in an attached room while we were there...families with small children be aware that some of the jokes aren't kid friendly. Everyone else, be aware that some of the jokes are quite corny. Overall it was good enough for what we wanted.

All you can eat buffett It's not the greatest idea if Your Not constantly busy.I'd def. Rather order fresh and eat a plate vs all you can eat.Good size parking lot....bathrooms.Ok atmosphereOnly all you can eat around.I haven't been in over 2 years but I didn't have a good dinner last time I went. Hope its gotten better.

Food was great. Price is good. Even the kids enjoyed it as well. Very friendly. . Definitely clean way different atmosphere than super buffet.

Its great, but some of the stuff has been sitting out to long!

The dining area was clean in fact the waitress was washing the chairs. But the food wasn't that great. Was 6:00 on a Sunday and there was hardly any food out.The soup was warm and the rest of the food was dry as if it been sitting out for awhile. Tea was good and the waitress was nice and polite. Maybe it was an off night? I'm a tourist so I don't think I'll be back.

Good favor, unfortunately we got there at opening before the steamer was hot so the food was cold, & the worst & grossest thing was the sushi had a worm inching across it.... I was told it was a bad avocado. How do you miss that? Then to add insult to injury they gave us a 10% discount. Should have gone somewhere else but being in a rig on the cod it's not that simple.

Food wasn't good and the place was dirty.

This place seems to be going down hill, a lot of foods not labeled, even though I knew what most were. sushi not labeled, not an overly clean or dirty lookong place, but could look better.

The food is very good and surprisingly filling. Something for everyone. Cheap.

I would say its a good place if you want a quick lunch at a good price all you can eat.

i do not know why there is a 1 star , those people who properly not even go there just make then look bad. the food is great they have shrimp prime ribs salmon white fish craw fish sometime even a cherry stone claims and old fashion Chinese dish, full fruit ,salad desert and ice cream bar. it is worth the money

Family oriented Chinese restaurant. a very nice Chinese theme thing going on restaurant. Food is pretty decent. I liked the decor. The buffet has a lot of options but when they are busy they are a little late on the refill. Price is fairly inexpensive. Location is convenient. Overall a good place to eat.

Definitely worth the price. Because this is a new owner I hope the chefs try to perfect the recipes more. Less variety would help them get dishes with better presentation and more flavor. All the stir fries look and taste similar.Another recommendation is to lessen the number of desserts which are the typical buffet fare bought in bulk. I would like to see a few dumplings. Noodles, not spaghetti should be used in the noodle dish.The food was refreshed often. Staff is extremely friendly. I have eaten there twice and would definitely go again.

Have always like this place. Depending in the time you go, they have multiple different options. Can't beat the all you can eat for around $8 before 3:30.

I visited here while on a bus trip to the Cape Cod and was thoroughly impressed. The food was hot and fresh and even though they were accomodating a few hundred people on the bus trip, they were able to replenish food within a reasonable time. Being that it was in Cape Cod, you would expect to see more local selections on the menu such as crab or lobster; however, the selections are what you would find at a typically chinese buffet. It was delicious nonetheless. The night I went, there was entertainment with a comedy duo and a songstress entertaining us for an hour or so. Overall it was a great experience and I would visit again.

food was ok at best. ice cream has no toppings. my drinks was flat and had to bring it back twice. not a very warm atmosphere and a little dim. the mens restroom was filthy (there was manure on the bathroom walls). this place is no way a super buffet. only good thing is, there was a show for the tourist bus. i couldn't see it, only heard it thru the curtain. that was funny. will not be going there again.
